Reverend Mitchell was raised in Champaign, IL and began his college education at Iowa State University in Agricultural Engineering.  He completed his studies at Augustana College with a degree in Philosophy and concentrations in religion and classical studies.  Ted's Master of Divinity was granted by the Divinity School at Duke University in 1989 and he pursued a Ph.D. at Marquette University in Historical Theology.  He received his License to Preach in 1983.

 

Ted is a member of The Order of St. Luke, a Wesleyan religious order dedicated to sacramental and liturgical scholarship, teaching, and practice.

 

Ted has been married to Cathy since 1982.  They have three children, Rachel, Melanie and Jim.

 Having extensive experience in working with youth and their families in other churches, Pat brings a warm heart and deep understanding of the needs of young families. Pat and her husband, Brian, live in Peoria and have three grown children.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Terra joined our staff in January 2009. Terra, her husband Mike, and son Nicholas live in Henry and our active in the United Methodist church there.

 Terra is a graduate of Henry-Senachwin High School and Eureka College with a degree in Social Work. She spent several years as a family advocate for Head Start before taking time to raise her son. Terra is active on the Marshall-Putnam County Fair board and helped to found the Lord's Storehouse thrift shop in Henry.
