Growing and Sharing our Faith in God
Sunday School is for EveryoneYou are invited to attend one of our many Sunday School Classes.
Sunday School is for all ages at the Chillicothe First. We strive to provide a Christian Education with strong ties to the student’s personal growth in faith, and loyalty to our congregation and denomination. Each week students gather to study the word of the God, increase their personal faith, and pray and support each other.
Our Kidz Kingdom Sunday School is for Pre-K through 5th graders. We are currently changing to a new curriculmn and encourage you to check back later to find out more about our new program!

Junior High Classes (2011/2012 school year is a confirmation class year)
Confirmation Classes are provided every other year for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students to learn what it means to be a Christian and a United Methodist. Students will be invited to make a commitment to Christ and join the Methodist Church.
In non- confirmation year, the Student’s will have a curriculum just for young teens and addressing issues they face.
The Junior High class meets upstairs in the Youth Fellowship Hall.
Senior High Classes provide a time for studying God’s Word through teaching & discussion relevant to your life! For all 9th-12th grade students.
Adult Sunday School is growing fast at the First United Methodist Church. ( 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.) There are currently three classes to choose from and topics will vary see our Adult Classes page or call the office for the most up to date details at 309-274-5458.
Cellar Dwellers meet in Room 27 to discuss hot topics and contempory bible studies. Lead by Wayne and Pam Miller.
Under Construction meet in the Conference room for a Video and faith based discussion. Lead by Jerry and Sharon Mitchel
Chapel Group- meet in the Chapel for traditional bible studies. Lead by Dick Nudd.
Babysitting is available for children of adults in Sunday School each week in the Nursery.
